Our Policy.

• To avoid fraudulent use of credit cards, we can only deliver high value orders to the address where the credit card is registered.
• We deliver by courier or post or on one of our vehicles, at our discretion. Post is the most usual method. Despite the scare stories you may read, Royal Mail correctly delivers 99.93% of all mail - which we think is extremely reliable. We will therefore not send out refunds or replacement goods for items reported as not delivered. We do, however, keep proof of posting and we are prepared to supply that if a customer chooses to enter into a dispute with Royal Mail. Alternatively, if you want complete certainty you can opt for the Insured delivery rate and sign for the parcel.

UK Delivery Charges

• Standard UK. Orders totalling over £35 (including VAT) are delivered free of charge. Delivery on orders totalling up to and including £35 (incl VAT) is charged at £3.95. Goods sent via Royal Mail using this default (Standard UK) delivery are not insured against non-delivery and any dispute about non-delivery will be between the customer and Royal Mail.
• Insured Option. You can pick this option at the checkout at a charge of £4.50 regardless of order value. A few exceptionally heavy items are subject to an additional hi-weight delivery charge of £11.50 - in all cases we say so clearly in the product description. Under the insured option, the parcel must be signed for. Insured value shall not exceed what Royal Mail or our courier are offering at the time.

Delivery Areas

• Most tools will be sent by post and can be delivered to the whole of the UK including Northern Ireland.
• Some very heavy items sent by courier can be delivered in mainland UK except for the Highlands of Scotland. Special arrangements can be made on request.

Delivery Times

• Post: we usually use first class mail, with next-day delivery likely if the item is in stock. Parcel post often takes a few days.
• Courier: next working day for orders taken before midday (but note that our courier does not collect or deliver on Saturdays or Sundays)
• Please contact us if time of delivery is of the essence.

Delivery times are not guaranteed and may depend on our suppliers or other factors outside our control. If the item is not in stock, we will keep you informed of progress.
